Man: 'Brain freeze' led to crash
A Salina, Kan., man who drove his car into the front stairs
of a home said the incident was the result of "brain
freeze" from a cold drink. Police desk officer Brandon
Tomson said Robert Schulz, 66, told police he lost control
of the vehicle after a cold beverage he was sipping gave
him a "brain freeze" and then a "chest freeze," the Salina
(Kan.) Journal reported Wednesday. Schulz was treated at
the Salina Regional Health Center and released.
